Memorial Day 2012

I hope you won't mind if I indulge in a post full of photos of my grandfather :)

William Dean Steere was in the Air Force during WWII.

He flew cargo planes, did aerial and aircraft damage photography,

and was part of the base photography club...

Known mainly by his family as 'Dean',

the idea to include Dean in my business

name seemed perfect, since his interest

in photography inspired me in the first place.

Planes, cameras, cars, guitars. Grandpa in 4 words.

The band he joined was called The Continentals, and they enjoyed

playing on various bases, and even traveled overseas to bring music to more troops.

Didn't give his mother one bit of anxiety...

So many men have given their lives for us throughout the history of America.

And I am grateful for all of them.

Scripture for Saturday

Infuse Your Dreams || Part 2

How is your value list coming??

Have you found it easy or hard to compile?

Today we are going to make another list...aren't you SO excited???? Try to stay calm :)

The next list I wrote up was about the personal offerings I could provide to others.

11. I never want to lose the desire to be open to new things
We are part of ever-changing industries nowadays, and holding resolutely to 'the way we used to do it' is about as useful as eating soup with a fork :D Depending on the consistency of the soup, a fork can be used in eating it...but not always. New ways and products that make my clients smile, make me smile too.

12. I am a visual person, so photography means a lot to me personally
I like to capture everything that happens in my life so I have something to look back at see how God has blessed me and given me so much.

3. I look for ways to be creative in order to meet unique needs
Getting married on a weekday instead of a Saturday? I can do that.
Have REALLY energetic, bouncing, adorable children? We can do lots of playtime during the photo session and capture their amazing personalities at the same time. If they don't have fun, you get your money back :)

19. Stories are important to me
And the most important story of all? Yours. I want to hear all the ins and outs of how you met, the tidbits you love about family life, the next steps you are taking to achieve your dreams. I get excited about everything :)

7. I aim to be up-to-date on new and better ways of making clients super happy
My newest favorite product that I offer is a service called PASS. Super easy to use, and makes sharing and downloading your photos as smooth and delicious as eating ice cream on a summer night!

7.I (want to) give a solid business experience that people can trust
I provide a very personal service: the ability to help people make beautiful art for their homes. My clients get my phone number, and emails are answered in 12-24 hours, in case they ever have questions about anything. As soon as I get a texting plan, they can text me, too :)
